Icon font update, export feature improved, new SVG symbol naming convention and 3 new icon categories
What a busy May here at Nucleo! We've been delivering many app improvements, all suggested by our members. Now SVG symbol export comes with an html demo file, Icon fonts include all icons in both glyph and outline styles and the favourite export feature is way faster. Oh! and of course we updated the library with 3 new icon categories, for a total of 1290 customizable icons as of today!
Export SVG symbol
First of all, a new naming convention for SVG symbol export: now each icon has a descriptive name, based on icon tags. Besides, when you download your SVG image sprites as <symbol>, we generate a .html demo file where you can copy icon #id names in no time, just like with icon fonts.
Icon fonts update
As requested by many users, our web font now includes all icons. Besides if you want to build your own font using Nucleo library, SVG source file now includes all icons as separate SVG files, ready to be imported in any app that converts SVG icons into web fonts!
Export favourite icons
This one is a small, yet handy app tweak: from the favourite page you can now select and download/remove all icons, thus saving time if you want to export your custom sets.
3 new icon categories
Every month we spend plenty of hours working on new pixel-perfect icons! During May we released 3 new categories: School & Education, Healthcare and Social Media. Here is a preview of the new icons:
That's all for this monthly round-up! Stay tuned, more updates will come soon ;)
